Semarang, December 5, 2025 – The Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University, held a Manuscript Clinic on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University, starting at 8:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time.
Themed “How to Write Scientific Publications Effectively,” this event aimed to improve the academic capacity of students and faculty in writing and publishing scientific papers in reputable national and international journals.
International Speaker
The manuscript clinic featured an international speaker, Dr. Shahid Ullah Khan (Dr. SK) from Dubai Medical University. In his presentation, Dr. SK shared his experiences and practical strategies for writing effective scientific articles, from manuscript structure and journal selection to strategies for navigating the peer review process.
Material and Discussion
The material presented included:
• Techniques for formulating compelling titles and abstracts
• Composing a strong introduction and methodology
• Systematic presentation of results and discussion
• Strategies for increasing the chances of articles being accepted into reputable journals
The event was interactive, with discussion and Q&A sessions, where participants could directly discuss issues they face in writing scientific manuscripts.

Through this Manuscript Clinic, the Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Diponegoro University (FPP UNDIP), hopes to encourage improvements in the quality and quantity of scientific publications by its academic community, while also supporting the agenda of research internationalization and the achievement of World Class University (WCU).
