To improve the ability of lecturers at Diponegoro University in publishing their work in international journals, the Undip Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) held a “Workshop on Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Article Writing” which took place in Salatiga on 25-27 August 2022. Workshop attended by representatives of lecturers from all study programs within Undip. Several lecturers from the Animal Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University such as Prof. Ir. Vitus Dwi Yunianto Budi Ismadi, M.S., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., Prof. Dr. Ir. Siswanto Imam Santoso, M.P., Sugiharto. S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D. and Asep Setiaji, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D. also enthusiastically participated in the activity with the hope of gaining new knowledge and knowledge regarding the preparation of systematic review articles and meta-analysis.
The workshop activities are guided by experts in writing systematic reviews and meta-analyses, one of which is Prof. Dr. sc. ETH. Anuraga Jayanegara, S.Pt., M.Sc. He is a professor in the field of animal husbandry from the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) University who has produced many meta-analytical review works/articles published in various international journals of high repute. After the three-day workshop, lecturers participating in the workshop are required to produce systematic review and meta-analysis articles that are ready to be submitted to international journals. In addition, lecturers from the Animal Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University are expected to “transmit” their knowledge to Animal Science Doctoral students so that they can prepare articles based on meta-analysis.
