This year, the Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry at Diponegoro University (UPM) is sending two students to participate in research at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Putra Malaysia (UPM). Bilal Ahmed is researching “Metabolic Pathways Involved in Probiotic Efficacy in Dairy Cattle Productivity and Feed Use Efficiency,” and Muhammad Rizwan Yousaf is researching “Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a Natural Growth Promoter in Broilers: Meta-Analysis of Performance and Meat Quality.” During their time at UPM, Malaysia, the two students were supervised by Prof. Dr. Hasliza Abu Hassim.
This program is funded by the World Class University-Undip program in 2025. Through this experience, students are expected to expand their academic networks, enhance their research competencies, and bring home innovations and knowledge that can be applied to national progress.
