Semarang – The Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry at Diponegoro University held a Closed Dissertation Examination for student Dwita Indrarosa, S.T., M.T., as one of the final stages in completing her doctoral studies.

During the examination, Dwita Indrarosa presented a dissertation entitled “The Effect of Livestock Waste Management Training on Increasing Knowledge, Innovation Adoption, and Farmer Income at BBPP Batu, East Java.” This research examines how livestock waste management training programs can improve farmers’ capacity to understand waste management technology, encourage innovation adoption, and impact their economic well-being.

Through a comprehensive research approach, this study demonstrates that structured, needs-based training plays a crucial role in increasing livestock farmers’ knowledge and encouraging the sustainable implementation of waste management technology. Proper livestock waste management not only improves livestock business efficiency but also supports more environmentally friendly livestock practices.

The results of this research also align with efforts to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the aspect of sustainable development through increased human resource capacity.
